Our Story
Founded in late 2020 by two best friends, one from Canada and the other from Turkey, FUEL started with the idea that food brings a connection to home, even when you’re half a planet away.
We would take our favourite recipes from around the world and modifiy them to make “healthier versions”, keeping the calories in check and the ingredients as fresh and natural as possible.
A small kitchen near the farm market area of Bogwang-dong, Seoul, would serve as our first location. After nearly two months of work to fix up the old kitchen and get a website setup, the debut deliveries were prepared in February 2021.
The first few weeks started with just a few orders, then four, then eight, then twelve. Word spread and soon the little kitchen was buzzing with activity nearly seven days a week to meet the demand.
By September 2022 FUEL has shipped over 135,000 meals, to people in all corners of Korea, including Jeju island!
With incredible communication from our growing community of customers, we responded to requests and added new and exciting meals, Keto Friendly and Plant-Based menus, snacks, side dishes, protein smoothies and desserts. We even added a free pick up service to recycle and re-use containers, cooler boxes and ice packs!
Each week we change the menu and do our best to make the most requested meals that our customers ask for.
Our mission is to our customers, to provide the best service and serve up the tastes from home with balanced nutrition.
Diverse Protein sources
Each week we build our menus with many different protein options including different cuts of lean beef, pork, chicken and even seafood like salmon and shrimp!
For our plant-based customers we make homemade Seitan “meats”, tofu and tempeh!
Our protein Power Smoothies use premium whey protein isolate which contains almost no fat or carbs and is the best option to stay lean and build muscle
Local Farm-to-Table
The majority of our vegetables are sourced from local suppliers and farm markets, who provide us with fresh, in-season produce!
