Meals

-How long FUEL meals last?

Your Meals will last in the fridge for 3 days defrosted and for 1-2 months in the freezer.

-How big are the portions?

Your meals are in 630 ml (185*125*45) containers if there are no sauce containers included and 800 ml (185*125*55) containers sauce containers included. The weight of the meals varies between 300 to 500 grams depending on the meal and it is meant for one serving. Original and KF options have 100 to 110 grams of protein of choice in each meal.

-Are the Meals Halal?

Beef and Chicken that we use in our meals are halal, however there could be some ingredients such as wine included in the ingredient list. Therefore, we ask our customers to check the ingredients to make sure it fits their needs.

-Are Fuel Meals Fresh or Frozen?

They are made to order with fresh ingredients during the week and freeze to keep the taste and the quality like the first day.

-Do I need to Prep anything?

No. All of the meals will be delivered as ready to eat and doesn’t require extra cooking. Once meals are defrosted*, you can heat them in the microwave for 3-4 min in the medium-high setting or more/less depending on how hot you prefer your meals.

*You can defrost them overnight in the fridge or defrost in the microwave for 10-15 min.

-What type of meals do you offer?

We offer mainly Original, Keto Friendly (Carb Smart), Vegan and Vegetarian options throughout our breakfast, snacks, desserts, dinner and lunch meals. Although we can not be completely gluten, soy free, there are meals in our menu that don’t carry some of these items.

-How many calories in one Fuel Meal?

Lunches and Dinners vary between 300 to 900 calories, usually averages around 600-700 calories.

-Do you offer low sodium meals?

No, unfortunately at this point we don’t and we also don’t give the sodium content of the meal because it is calculated recipe based and it can vary due to ingredient changes. 

-What if I have an allergy?

Currently, we are working on a detailed ingredient list of our menus to help for allergies; however, due to cross contamination, we cannot completely eliminate certain ingredients such as gluten, peanuts, tree nuts etc. We strongly recommend our customers to make the judgment by looking at our ingredient list and detailed ingredient list when they are choosing their meals.

-Do you offer meals for special requirements?

We try to provide as much nutritional information and meal information as possible. Because of an expansive amount of dietary requirements, unfortunately we cannot accommodate all of them. We leave it to our customers to find the meals that will suit their dietary needs. You can always contact us as well for suggestions.

-How do I view ingredients & nutritional information?

You can check it by simply clicking on the meal image on the product page. In order to see what is in your freezer, main ingredients and main nutritional information (calories, protein, fat, carbohydrate, dietary fiber) will also be on the label of the meal.

How Fuel Weekly Works?

-How much does it cost?

Our Vegan options start at 10,900 and Original/Keto Friendly options start at 11,400 to 12,500 currently. We have 3 tier discount system on our non-side (non-breakfast,-snack,-dessert) categories depending on category total 50,000 to 99,999 is tier 1, 5% off; 100,000 to 149,999 is tier 2, 10% off; 150,000 and above is tier 3, 15% off.

We also have a FUEL Points system now which allows you to earn points through every purchase you make. Every 1 KRW you spend, you will receive 1 FUEL points in which you can redeem every 50 FUEL points as 1 KRW.

-How soon can I get my first order?

We deliver every Monday (Tuesdays for Jeju). Any order that has been placed between Monday through Saturday will be delivered on next Monday. We currently change our menu on Sunday, so any order that has been placed on Sunday might have delivery date confusion. Please make sure you’re selecting the correct delivery date during check out when you’re selecting postal service.

-What are the benefits of Fuel?

We want to make the Korean fast lifestyle easy, healthy and delicious for our customers. Our meals are frozen and only ready to reheat for your needs. All you need is a microwave or stove and a fridge. We deliver the flavours you miss, made with the highest quality, fresh ingredients. We change our menu every week and we take your feedback for our menu selection. FUEL meal delivery means you don’t have to spend hours looking for recipes or shopping for expensive ingredients, and of course you don’t need to prep, cook and clean up!

-Where can I find the instructions for the meals?

Simple instructions for the meals will be on the labels. Rule of thumb is after completely defrosting your meal in the fridge overnight or in the microwave for 8-12 min, reheat your meal in the microwave for 2-3 min in a high, 3-4 min in a med-high setting. If you would like to prefer higher temp, it is ok to continue heating, however please we ask from our customers to start 3 min med-high so that protein won’t get rubbery.

-Can I customize my meals?

At this time, unfortunately, we cannot customize your meals, however you can check the ingredient list of the meals. Sometimes, depending on the season, we might have seasonal changes of the veggies we serve with the dish so, we would really appreciate it if you let us know if you have any allergies or severe allergies.

-what are the payment options?

We currently have PayPal and Bank Transfer options. If you would like to use your Credit/Debit card, please select the PayPal option, it will allow you to Pay as a Guest without creating a PayPal account and if you need any help, please let us know!

Recycling Program

-can I send a second box

If you want to send more than one box per month we still want to help you! 

We invite our FUEL community to send their containers and ice packs to our Kitchen so we can reuse them! Simply wash out the containers and stack them in one of the boxes we have sent you.

If you decide to mail us a box please email us at food@fuelweekly.com and let us know so we can ensure we receive the box and credit your account properly.

-how does the program work

If you have containers and ice packs that you would like to recycle and reuse, we can pay for one box per month to be picked up from your home at no cost to you! Clean your empty containers and keep your ice packs and try to completely fill one of the delivery boxes that we send. Send us a picture of the tracking sticker on top of the box. It’s the sticker with your name, address and numbers on it. Tape the box and leave it outside where the delivery company can pick it up.

Delivery

Meals are sent every week on Sunday nights and ship overnight anywhere in Korea. The meal boxes will be delivered every Monday in most parts of Korea and Tuesday on Jeju Island.

You don’t need to be home to receive your meal box. They will be left at your door or with your building security office. Delivery can be completed anytime during the day. The courier company may send your tracking to your phone and we will also email you the tracking details on Monday. 

We package your meals in convenient to-go containers that can be frozen and microwaved.  We ship overnight in a cooler container with ice to ensure Freshness. You can store your meals in the fridge for 5 days or freeze them for later!

The delivery fee is only 6,500 anywhere in Korea.

Cancelations

All orders are considered final so we reserve/hold your meals while we wait for your payment. If you decide to cancel for any reason it’s important that you contact us right away and notify us. Not paying for an order after it is placed without contacting us will cause harm to both us and other customers who may have wanted to order the meals that you reserved. 

What happens if I don’t receive my food or there is an issue with the food or delivery?

Not to worry! Delivery problems are rare but if for some reason your order gets lost we will be able to provide you with a Credit for a full replacement! 

Local delays are always a possibility so we plan on a two day delivery time and pack with enough ice to survive the journey. If the meal box doesn’t get delivered within 2 days however we will provide the full credit or refund to you while we deal with the loses on your behalf with the delivery company.

If you feel like your meals are spoiled in some way we will provide you with a credit so that you can get a replacement with your next delivery. There is no expiry date for your credit!
