Christmas Dinner delivery in Korea
Christmas in Korea can be hard for those of us who are away from our extended families. It’s the Holiday season and that means that people of multiple faiths and beliefs all have something to celebrate, memories to reminisce about, new memories to create and also to reflect on the past year.
Personally the Holiday season was about decorations, some home-made, some store bought, most horribly tacky and always waaaay too many on the tree and around the house. Some of us live in small studio apartments and spending the money on a tiny Charlie Brown-esque plastic tree from from Emart may seem a bit silly when that money could be better used toward saving for the next trip to Thailand.
The holiday season can also be about creating new traditions for you and your loved ones. Maybe it’s a movie that you watch every year (and YES Die Hard is a Christmas movie damnit), or markets or festivals that you visit to check out the hand-made crafts, drink mulled wine and eat the multitude of delicious offerings from the international vendor booths.
And that of course bring us around to the absolute, undisputed, number one, word champion of the Holiday Season… the FOOD!
It’s the one time of year that almost everyone says F*&k IT to whatever diet they are on and has AT LEAST one, blow it out, loosen the belt, hell maybe even wear sweat pants, give me everything, holiday meal!
For Americans they have Thanksgiving really late in November – slackers, everyone knows Thanksgiving was in October so you can space out your binge eating!
Never the less there is the Christmas Dinner that must be honoured and at FUEL Weekly we will be making another full Holiday meal spread for the Christmas week of December 19th.
